hatenaistormHi there! I don't really translate things that often, but if you know me, then you know I can't resist my favorite pair.
Since I'm overwhelmed with Suezu feelings right now because of today's VS Arashi, here's a short excerpt from this month's Gekkan Arashi!

M = Matsumoto
N = Ninomiya
M: I already have it recorded, but I haven't been able to watch Black Pean (2018, TBS) yet. Though I'm sure by the time this issue goes on sale, I would have watched it. You're really cool in it, right, Nino?
N: I'm an ikemen there after all (laugh).
M: I've heard rumors going around about you being an ikemen~ (laugh).
N: Hahahaha (laugh). Oh, by the way, I saw Domyouji (in Hana Nochi, Hare, 2018, TBS).
M: Aah~ (laugh). Thanks. It didn't seem like I was the real one, did it? (laugh)
N: That's not true~ I'm sure everyone's heart leapt seeing Domyouji after such a long time.
M: Eeeh~
N: I'm sure they were happy. HanaDan fans were definitely happy.
M: I'm glad if that's really the case.
N: It's been 10 years since HanaDan, right? It made me realize how much time has passed since then.
M: Yeah.
N: It doesn't seem that long ago though. Oguri (Shun)-kun and Matsuda Shota-kun also appeared, right?
M: Yes.
N: That's nice. It was probably a form of encouragement for the cast and staff, too? Like, "we can create something like that too".
M: I don't think any of us would have imagined this happening 10 years ago. We joked around and said things like "it would be interesting if the same members of HanaDan gathered again when we become older", but we really didn't expect it to actually happen.
N: Hana Nochi, Hare and Black Pean were filmed in the same studio. It seemed like they were having a lot of fun. They had the same staff as in HanaDan, right?
M: I heard that there were around 10 people who also worked with HanaDan back then. Oh, so I went for a meal with Hirano (Sho), Shun, and the staff--Hirano sat in between Domyouji and Hanazawa Rui (Oguri) (laugh).
N: Wow, he must have been happy.
M: So, what's gonna happen to Tokai-sensei (Ninomiya) after this? Will he be back?
N: Well~ I'll disappear (laugh). If I don't, I'd be in the way of Team Batista. (laugh)

What really got to me is Jun recording Black Pean so he could watch it.
I'll forever stand by my belief that Jun is a fan of Nino and his works. ;w;
